Documentation

We can assist you with the generation of Requirement Specifications and supply Feasibility Reports, Design Specifications, Fault-Finding Guides & Test Instructions.  Written documentation is normally supplied in MS Word format.

Schematic Design

Schematic design using Protel/Altium Schematic.  Documentation is supplied as A3 laser hard-copy and/or DXF/PDF with source files.

Logic Array Design

Altera logic array design and simulation using Altera Quartus, including SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) with NIOS Processor.

Design Verification

Prototype design PCBs are tested for functionality against the Requirement and Design Specifications using our design lab facilities.  Special-to-Type test boxes are designed and built where necessary.

PCB Layout

PCB Layout using Altium Designer with Specctra shape-based autorouter.  Critical areas of the design are always manually routed prior to autorouting.  Finished design is analysed for signal integrity, particularly important for modern high-speed designs.  Specific steps are taken to minimise EMC problems.  ATE test pads can be added to all nets if required.
