We saw Sophie-Jane No.2 advertised on the Apollo-Duck website on the Thursday evening before Easter and contacted Boatfinder Brokerage on Good Friday. After a phone call to John and Pauline, the vendors, we viewed the boat at Stafford on Easter Monday and were both bowled over. This was exactly the boat we were looking for, except that we weren't supposed to even start looking for another nine years.
However, a recent spate of funerals made us realise that we should be living more for today and planning less for the future, so we made an offer the following day. Less than three weeks later, here we were travelling up to Stafford to take possession.
