This was to be our first long holiday on Sophie-Jane No.2 so we came prepared with a crew of seven, pictured left to right:
Dave, Tim, Jen, Rosemary, Lucy, Tess & Robert
The plan was to complete most of the Four Counties Ring before our three offspring returned to Southampton in time for Robert to collect his AS-Level results. Jen and I would then take Sophie-Jane No.2 down to her new mooring at Blisworth Marina near Gayton Junction on the Grand Union Canal.
